I didn't Win it but I tried :D

OK I tried and entered the Lindy Stamp Gang Contest and this is what I came up with , it's called under the sea and I just chose the mermaid from Pirates of the Caribbean latest movie . I colored this picture after printing it out with my micas and with used the LSG products on the flowers and the net , it came out sort of 3D and all shiny . Still, other crafty and creative ladies applied and won this contest , there were 5 winners and I think most of them deserved to win :)

This project just flashed in my head you  know , like when you someone just takes a picture of you in the middle of the dark !! my head was blank and all of the sudden , there was light and it had that picture of the complete project ! haha!! oh well it isn't that much of a trouble . I t always gives me great pleasure to break out my Lindy's and start coloring , what a soothing feeling :) anyhow here are some pictures of the finished project.

I have already submitted a video response to the I am roses official channel and I hope I get recognized .

I love ATCs , today Stephanie e-mailed me and told me she got mine .. I was amazed how fast these got to her and I am so happy she Liked them . 

Update on the mini album

I managed to finish it on time and the customer loved it . Since then ,I've made quite a few and here are some pictures of them.

A new Project ?

I am making a new album for a customer's daughter .. it's a 6x6 album which has a lot of work yet to be done -.-  I'll update this soon .. I hope.

personalized patterns and background

One of my friends asked me to make her a wedding album and I desided to use some of the paper I have like the mariposa stack and the Mr & Mrs Collection that I have been keeping for a day like this.  So I wanted to make a special background with their names on and this is what I came up with. I have been living :)

Although this might seem awkward to to write about but I guess I owe it to myself .. I have been doing too many things at the same time .. That doesn't mean I haven't been scrapping . I've been trying to post on here but it's so hectic over here that when all my children are asleep , I'll literally just crash on the sofa or watch TV in bed till i fall asleep. Oh well , If you're a woman you'll probably know this . But have no fear , I'll be scrapbooking a whole album , wedding album , for one of my ex students .. so many layouts to come and I have a couple of videos up on youtube if  you'd like to check them up .. just search for my channel .. The pictures are from a card drive held by a wonderful lady who has lost her precious bebe , her companion , her doggie . She had this idea after she was given a flock of the doggie's hair in a  zippie and a paw print in a hand made card in the hospital. This lady is so great to think about all the other pets owners who would love to have something to remind them of their late companions  end keep it in a card close to their hearts. I participated in this Card drive and so did many others. and long after that I'll still send in at least 5 cards a month until I have nothing left to scrap with :P .. I hope you like my little creations .. I'll ttake pictures of the others I'm about to send in a few days . till then , take care and be good !
